So Samsung are acquiring a service called LoopPay that will rival Apple's service, ApplePay, Samsung haven't said how much they've paid for the technology but I bet its quite the amount.
So what is LoopPay?
So is this a good venture and is it a good rival?
Now what's my opinion on this so called 'Wallet solution'?
Furthermore i'm glad that Android devices are improving and gaining on Apple, its a shame that this technology is exclusive to Samsung currently and there aren't any rumours of any other manufacturers that plan to use this service, which is a shame for someone like me who hates Samsung devices, more to the point I don't like the TouchWiz UI they force upon us.
Now moving on, Samsung's opinion of this Technology is quite high, this is what the President ( JK Shin ) of IT and Mobile Division had to say:
'This acquisition accelerates our vision to drive and lead innovation in the world of mobile commerce. Our goal has always been to build the smartest, most secure, user-friendly mobile wallet experience, and we are delighted to welcome LoopPay to take us closer to this goal'
